From the Performance Review Desk
An editor’s work is all about adding value for customers in that we always work to support the readers and/or users of our products. If something can be said more clearly, we’ll advocate for it; if we can find ways to guard against error, we will do so. Because we are a careful lot, we’re accused of hindering innovation and efficiency. Most of the time, our intentions are honorable; after all, change for change’s sake is a foolish way to write—it risks undermining things that already work well.
